How to Install fastaq software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

fastaq software package provides FASTA and FASTQ file manipulation tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fastaq

fastaq is installed in your system.

Make ensure the fastaq package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fastaq *

You will get with fastaq package name, version, architecture and description in a table
